The Boedecker Foundation currently supports the following organizations.
The Foundation was originally funded through a financial contribution from the estate of the late Anthony H. Kruse. We currently do not have fundraising events
Anthony H. Kruse was an entrepreneur, business partner, and a close friend of George Boedecker Jr. who passed away in July of 2006. Mr. Kruse’s estate was left in the hands of Boedecker, who established the Foundation to support non-profit endeavors.
The Boedecker Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals or requests. The Foundation only provides grants to organizations defined as a public charity and as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation avoids supporting the following: religious organizations, unless they are engaged in a significant project that benefits a broad base of the community; organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, gender, or national origin; candidates for public office; and lobbying, legislative or political activities.

The Foundation provides general operating, program and capital funding support for projects within its areas of interests which include: education, youth development, health and wellness, and family and community development.
Yes, while the majority of the foundation’s bequests are Colorado based, the foundation does provide assistance to multiple organization throughout the United States and supports global initiatives that operate in Africa and Mexico.
The Mission of the Boedecker Foundation is to provide critical resources to non-profit organizations that inspire positive change within diverse communities around the world.
