Paving the way for his successes at Crocs, Mr. Boedecker served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of International Sales and Operations for the Quiznos Corporation in Canada. He is also a founder and managing member of Oregon Food Concepts LLC, a franchise sales and support company that owns and manages Quizno franchise locations in Oregon and Washington. Prior to Quiznos, Mr. Boedecker was active with the Domino’s Pizza Corporation, and was responsible for building and operating over 100 Domino’s Pizza outlets in multiple states. In addition to Crocs, Boedecker has founded several other profitable businesses including Boulder, Colorado-based Crocodile Distribution and Crocodile Kiosk.
Aside from his numerous business success stories, Mr. Boedecker takes great pride in his extensive philanthropic accomplishments, including the 2006 creation of the Anthony H. Kruse Foundation through an endowment left to him by his good friend and business partner Anthony H. Kruse. In 2009, Mr. Boedecker consolidated all of his charitable endeavors into one entity that is referred to as The Boedecker Foundation. By doing so, Mr. Boedecker was able to devote all his resources to further the Foundation’s mission and vision. The Boedecker Foundation, a Boulder, Colorado-based private, non-operating Foundation has a reach that extends globally, with a mission that provides critical resources to nonprofit organizations that inspire positive change within diverse communities around the world.
Through his various philanthropic enterprises Mr. Boedecker has impacted the lives of thousands of children, their families and communities. During his efforts, over 50 nonprofit organizations have received funding in support of their essential missions.
Mr. Boedecker’s personal wealth, which was derived from the formation and sale of Crocs, Inc., and coupled with an estate left to him for philanthropic purposes, has allowed him to create a powerful outlet in order to make a difference in people’s lives.
